VIDEO CHURCH SERVICE: JESUS THE GAME CHANGER

VIDEO CHURCH SERVICE: JESUS THE GAME CHANGER

Today's Video Church Service (3/29) went well! It is not only linked to our website at www.churchofchristnb.com but placed here as a downloadable MP4 video in case you want to collect them for the future. Just go to "SERMON DOWNLOADS" and the one you want. Just right-click the download icon and it's on its way to you. Special thanks to all involved in its production and distribution!

Online Service A Success!

Online Service A Success!

Our first video church service is complete, and the reviews are coming in favorably! We have every intention of continuing these offerings until (at least) the Governor gives the word that meeting together again is safe. It's actually something I've wanted to do for some time; and our leadership decided this was the time to do it out of concern for each other's safety and the love we share for each other.

We would appreciate your feedback on the video. If you missed it, click "Online Services" on the top menu bar. You can also go to YouTube and search for our name. The video (an MP4 file) [has been] added to the "SERMON DOWNLOADS" section along with the hundreds of other audio recordings of past lessons we have there.

One thing: PLEASE let us know how it went once you have seen the video, especially if you had any problems watching it. Please click "CONTACT US" at the top. If you had any issues, please tell me what you were watching it on (phone, tablet, etc) and what happened.

Temporary Change to Online Worship Service

Temporary Change to Online Worship Service

Gathering together is not a loving option for us right now. The schools have closed until April 28 and the state has limited gatherings to under 25. In love for our members and neighbors, together with the Holy Spirit, the eldership and I have deemed it best to not meet together at the church building for the next 6 weeks for congregational worship. We are going to provide an online offering for worship. Bryan has prepared a YouTube video with songs, prayer, scripture, and a sermon.

The first online service will be 3-22-20 at 10:30 AM. To join us, click "ONLINE SERVICES" on the TOP NAVIGATION BAR, or if you have any issues COPY & PASTE this link : https://youtu.be/vNHI8CIChQc  into your browser/phone to subscribe to the service or view it when it becomes active.

WHAT IS WEDNESDAY'S "AGAPE NIGHT?"

WHAT IS WEDNESDAY'S "AGAPE NIGHT?"

From the dictionary, AGAPE is: "(1) A meal eaten in common by a Christian congregation in token of brotherly love." (2) :"...a gathering held to promote reconciliation and good feeling or show someone affectionate honor." Thus, our "AGAPE Night" gatherings are just that: meals offered to everyone, regardless of status or stature whether rich, poor, homeless or otherwise as a token of love and committment to their needs.

So what happens at an Agape Night gathering? Is someone going to preach at me? Don't worry: Nobody is going to come up and try to take you away from your home church if you have one. If you are *LOOKING* for a church to attend, then feel free to ask questions about us as we're happy to answer them and absolutely everyone is welcome here. On a typical Wednesday night, the doors are open from 6-7 PM. People gather in the main "fellowship" area (large room) just inside the doors. You'll see a varied assortment of food laid out on counters or tables.
