Reprinted 5/30/24 John 4:28-29 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” One sure way through which you can effectively win souls is to share your personal testimonies of your encounter with Christ. The woman of Samaria drew the entire city to come hear the Lord Jesus by simply telling them her encounter with the Lord. Psalms 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy. People are more inclined to listen to you when you share your personal encounters with the Lord. As one who is intimate with the Lord Jesus Christ you ought to have abundance of testimonies of how much the Lord has done in your life. Fruits of your personal encounters with the Lord Jesus are raw materials for soul winning. Be quick to share them whenever you are out to win souls. Psalms 106:8 Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make his power known. All that the Lord Jesus did to get the nation of Israel to repent was to tell them about His relationship with the Father. John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Learn from the Lord Jesus Christ. Use your personal walk with Him to help others to come to the knowledge of Him. See to it that you preach Christ. Go out of your way to make Him known. See to it that you use your personal encounters with the Lord Jesus Christ to win souls. Let the world know about the love of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ by sharing your testimonies of personal encounters with Him, today and always. Meditate On This: John 1:45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Action Points: 1. Make a personal commitment to go out of your way to win souls today. 2. Rejoice always over the glorious encounters you have had with the Lord Jesus Christ since you got saved. 3. Share your testimonies of your encounters of God’s love, power and grace with others today. Prayer: 1. Father, thank you for the privilege of being saved, and having encounters with you, by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ 2. Father, grant me wisdom to always share my personal testimonies of my encounter with you and your mighty power in order to win the souls of many, in Jesus name.
