Saturday July 29th 2023.. John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. Matthew 7:7 teaches that he who seeks will find. In other words,seekers always find. Seekers find because that which they seek is a possibility. There is only one thing the Father seeks amongst men - He is seeking for true worshipers. The Lord Jesus Christ defined true worshipers as those who are capable of worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is seeking true worshipers because the Lord Jesus Christ, through His death, burial and resurrection, has made men who are in union with Him capable of worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth. To worship the Father in spirit is to worship Him as one who is born of the Spirit. It is to have the spiritual capacity to relate with the Father by the enabling grace of the Holy Spirit. To worship the Father in truth is to relate with Him through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and confidence in the sufficiency of His finished work. The only worship that is acceptable to the Father is the one that comes from those who worship Him in spirit and truth. No other form of worship is acceptable to Him. Understanding and seeing that the Father is in search of true worshipers, you owe it to yourself to become one. Get saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and stay saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and confidence in all He has done in you and for you. Let the Father find in you the true worshiper that He is looking for. Be a true worshiper by embracing the truth that is in the Lord Jesus Christ. If the Father can find in you the true worshiper that He seeks, He will make your life beautiful; He will fill your life with all of the goodness that abound in Christ. Be wise. Be the kind of man the Father is seeking for. Be a true worshiper. See to it that you are rooted and built up in Christ, and established in the faith. See to it that you present your body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to the Father. See to it that you abide in the Lord Jesus Christ and He in you daily. Be the true worshiper the Father is looking for. Let the Father find in you all He seeks from those who can worship Him and worship Him accordingly. Meditate On This: John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. Daily Affirmation: I affirm that I understand that the Father is seeking for true worshipers. I affirm that I understand that the Father only receives worship from those who are capable of worshiping Him in spirit and truth. I therefore choose to trust the Lord Jesus Christ and daily rely on the sufficiency of His finished work to enjoy right standing with the Father, so I may become capable of offering true worship to the Father all the days of my life.
