Topic: Let Out The Light That Is In You In Union With Christ. Wednesday July 5th 2023. I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. The uniqueness of the body of Christ lies in the fact that it is made up of those who have been called out of the darkness of this world into into God’s marvelous light. The essence of being called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light is so you may showcase the glory of His person through the exercise of your faith in Christ Jesus. You are meant to shine the light from the life of Christ that is at work in you before men that they may see and glorify your Father in heaven. God has separated you unto Himself in Christ Jesus so your life may glorify Him. He set you apart so you may be truly righteous and holy. You are meant to stand out as one who has been called out of slavery to the flesh and to the things of this world. You owe it to yourself to have nothing to do with the darkness of immorality and idolatry that your heavenly Father has separated you from, through your faith in Christ. Be intentional in letting out the light in you; think holy thoughts and desist from speaking words that do not edify. Refuse to use your body for anything that does not glorify your Father in heaven. Meditate On This: Isaiah 43:21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise. Daily Affirmation: I affirm that I know that I have been called out of the darkness of this world into God’s marvelous light. I affirm my commitment to let out the light generated by the life of Christ that is at work in me daily. I therefore choose to be holy and righteous in thought, words and action. I choose to let out the light in me so that men may see and glorify my Father in heaven, today and always. Amen. Hallelujah. Prayer: Pray effectively in the Spirit.
