Matthew 4:4
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

That which is written cannot be refuted; it carries the weight of what it proclaims; it cannot be changed; it cannot be dismissed. It is legal and binding.

By relying on that which is written to overcome the enemy the Lord Jesus Christ established the fact that walking in victory and resisting the devil is beyond logic and use of human physical strength. He rose beyond Satan's level; He made what God said the final authority in the matter at hand.

Understanding the weight of that which is written concerning you in Christ and drawing on it to be and do all your heavenly Father has called you to be and do, and standing on it to resist the devil, is the key to converting the grace of God to your personal testimony of victorious daily living.

That which is written concerning you in Christ is described by the Apostle Peter as a more sure word of prophecy. It is more reliable than anything being spoken over you today.

That which is written concerning you in Christ is written so you may count on it. It is written so you may daily draw from it wisdom and understanding you need to enforce the victory the Lord Jesus Christ secured for you with His precious blood.

To enforce the victory the Lord Jesus Christ secured for you with His blood you must prayerfully study and meditate on the scriptures daily.

See the scriptures as a spiritual document that contains that which is written by your heavenly Father concerning you in Christ.

You owe it to yourself to take to heart all that your heavenly Father has written concerning you in Christ. Draw wisdom and understanding from it; apply it diligently in all you do.

Go for that which is written concerning you in Christ. Apply your heart and mind through faith to make it your reality. Stand on it to put the devil where he belongs, today and always.

Meditate On This: 2 Peter 1:19 (NIV)

We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Daily Affirmation:
I affirm this day that my faith is born of the written word of God. I delight in every word my heavenly Father has written concerning me in Christ. I derive wisdom and understanding that gives me victory in all I do from that which is written by my heavenly Father concerning me in Christ. I resist the devil at all times by standing on that which my heavenly Father has written concerning me in Christ. My victory is sure as I stand firmly in the assurance of all that my heavenly Father has proclaimed and written concerning me. Amen. Hallelujah.

Prayer: Pray in the Spirit.
