DEAR BROTHERS & SISTERS IN THE LORD: This daily devotional, written by Sunday Ayodele, is an extremely POWERFUL lesson that is "Extra Special" and may very well change your life. Please share it. --Mark R. Magill, webmaster ------------------------------------------------------- Topic: Irrevocably Blessed. Saturday April 15th 2023. Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. God's gifts and calling on your life are irrevocable; it is not in His character to change His mind and reverse His plan and purpose for your life. God does not take back that which He bestowed on you as covenant benefits in Christ. Once He has given it to you it is yours forever. Since God did not rely on your righteousness to bestow on you the gifts and calling your sins or mistakes will not make Him take them from you. Understanding the character of God is key for walking effectively in His grace. God does not take back that which He has given you in Christ. The feeling of being disconnected from the Lord when you stumble is a function of your thinking. All you need is to genuinely repent before the Lord and continue your race. If you stumble into sin do not think that God has cancelled your calling and withdrawn His gifts from you. Go to the throne of grace to obtain mercy so you may find grace to help to keep running your race. The Lord will never cast you away; He will never write you off. He loves you and wants the best for you at all times (Isaiah 54:9). Walk daily in the knowing that nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Learn to make the most of His grace and mercy as you run your race. Think About This: Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Daily Affirmation: I affirm that the gifts and the calling of God on my life are irrevocable. The thoughts of my heavenly Father towards me are fixed. His love for me is not subject to what I do. I choose to walk daily in the consciousness of the fact that nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah. Prayer: Pray in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: Galatians chapter 5. You are blessed beyond measure. Read Galatians 5 online here: https://www.bible...ersion=NIV |
