Matthew 16:26
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Nothing can take the place of a prosperous soul in maximizing the grace of God that is in Christ Jesus. There is nothing that can be exchanged for a prosperous soul. There is no profiting for the believer that is in union with Christ without having the priceless asset of a prosperous soul.

The loss of the soul will render the redemptive sacrifice of Christ ineffective and unfruitful in the believer's life. To loose your soul is to cause a disconnect between the reality Christ has established in your born again human spirit and your physical and material wellbeing. To lose your soul is to be conformed to the world; it is to have an unrenewed mind; it is to be carnally minded.

Your heavenly Father gave you the spirit of a sound mind so you may prosper and be in health. Putting your sound mind to work to make the most of the grace of God is only possible when it is daily renewed by the revelation knowledge of all that the Lord Jesus Christ has done in you and for you.

Renew your mind with the word so it may profit you. Expose your mind to a daily dose of the word by diligently studying the scriptures and meditating in it. The more you study and meditate in the revelation of the finished work of Christ the more your soul will become prosperous; the more prosperous your soul the more you will be in health and prosper in all you do.

Be mindful of the fact that God wants you to prosper and be in health as your soul prospers. Put in the effort to make this your testimony today. Get the word into your heart so it may affect and change the way you think, subdue and subject your will to walking in obedience to the Lord and causing your emotions to align with the righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit who is at work in you.

Think About This: 3 John 1:2 — 4

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Faith Confession:
I have the spirit of a sound mind. My soul is prosperous. I prosper and enjoy divine health according to the measure of the prosperity of my soul. I am intentional in studying and meditating daily in the revelation knowledge of Christ and all He has done in me and for me. My soul is a priceless asset I cannot afford to lose. Hallelujah. Amen.

Pray in the Spirit.
