1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

Be on the alert! Walk daily in the consciousness of your identity in Christ, and of the fact that the devil is fighting against your liberty in Him and doing everything he can to pull you down.

Be on the look out for Satan's traps and tricks as you engage in the pursuit of the will of God for your life, and walk in alignment with His plan and purpose for your life. The adversary is a tireless foe; he never gets tired of trying to derail the saints from the paths of righteousness.

Satan will always draw on all the tricks in his book to try and derail you from the path God appointed that you must follow in Christ. It takes vigilance to discern and escape satan's destructive schemes daily.

Many believers have been devoured by the devil, because of carelessness. Being spiritually insensitive and laid back concerning the will of God, and failing to walk in alignment with His purpose, Satan is easily cuts them off the grace of God and brings them into habitual sinful living.

You owe it to yourself to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Do not be careless; maintain a sensitive heart so you are able to see what the enemy is trying to do so you may escape it by the knowledge of the word and the power of the Spirit.
Stay your mind on the Lord. Be sensitive to the Spirit. Walk after the Spirit. Let the word be the guiding light of all you think, say and do. Resist the devil; refuse to be a victim of his devouring schemes. Be vigilant today and at all times.

Think About This:
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Faith Confession:
I am vigilant by the knowledge of the word and discerning of the Spirit. I am always one step ahead of the enemy. No matter what the devil does I have victory. I am working out my salvation with fear and trembling by the word and the power of the Spirit, today and always.

Prayer: Pray in the Spirit aggressively.

Daily Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians chapter 2.
