By Sunday Ayodele, Lagos, Nigeria Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Having been made righteous through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive sacrifice the believer in Christ is to always stand before God with the assurance of faith. His righteousness being a matter of faith should always be seen as a matter of faith and a matter of faith alone. He is expected to never make room for condemnation to slip into his heart. Having been made righteous through your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ you are to stay righteous through faith. You must keep believing in the righteousness of faith. You must learn to stand before the Father in the consciousness of the fact that you owe your righteousness to your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and nothing else. Stand in the righteousness with which you have been made righteous. Make no room for any feeling or thoughts of condemnation. Understand that condemnation is only possible if you were made righteous because of your good works. Seeing that you were made righteous because of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ you owe it to yourself to walk daily in that consciousness. Walking daily in the consciousness of the fact that you were made righteous through your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will enable you to always stand with boldness before your heavenly Father to offer to Him the sacrifice of praise. Standing in the assurance of faith before God to offer to Him the sacrifice of praise makes your offering a living sacrifice that is acceptable to Him. Standing before the Lord in the righteousness with which He made you righteous will cause His blessings to rest on you and put a song of victory in your mouth always. Think About This: Colossians 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Faith Confession: I stand daily before my heavenly Father in the confidence of the righteousness which I received through my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work. My sacrifice of praise offering to God is living and acceptable because I always stand before Him in the assurance of faith. I am accepted in the beloved and blessed because I always stand believing in Jesus and His finished work. Hallelujah! Prayer: Pray in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: Acts chapter 23.
