Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The beauty of offering to the Lord the sacrifice of praise lies in doing so with a heart that is established with grace and driven by grace. Our praise offering is acceptable to the Lord if it is an expression of His grace that is at work in us in Christ Jesus. Our heavenly Father does not expect us to offer praise to Him outside the power and influence of Christ Jesus and His finished work.

To offer praise to the Lord on the basis of your good works is to frustrate the grace of God. For your praise offering to be acceptable to the Father it must be born of faith that is born of the knowledge of Christ and all He has done in you and for you. It must be done by totally relying on the grace that Christ Jesus has made available to you through His death, resurrection and eternal priesthood.

Make your praise offering count by always coming to the Father with a heart that is shaped by the revelation knowledge of the redemptive sacrifice of Christ. Recognize the priesthood of Christ as more than enough grounds to stand in His presence without any feeling of condemnation or sense of inadequacy (Hebrews 4:15 – 16). Let your heart bubble with the knowledge of who Christ is to you and who you are and have in union with Him.

Your sacrifice of praise will be acceptable to God if it is born of the knowledge of Christ and all He has done in you and for you. It will be effectual in converting the grace of God to your personal testimony of victorious living if it is a product of acknowledging the good that is in you in Christ. Only grace oriented hearts and minds can fully give glory to God in a way that is acceptable to Him.

Think About This:
Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Faith Confession:
I am who I am and have all I have by the grace of God. I sing praises and lift my heart and hands to the Lord by His grace that is at work in me. My sacrifice of praise offering to my heavenly Father is born of the knowledge of who Christ Jesus is to me and who I am and have in union with Him. The knowledge of the good that is in me in Christ Jesus drives my praise offering to God continually. Glory be to God forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer:
Pray in the Spirit and sing in the Spirit.

Daily Bible Reading:
Acts chapter 20.

Your day is blessed.
