Topic:Sow What You Desire To Reap Tuesday May 24th 2022 Written by Sunday Ayodele, Lagos, Nigeria Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise Life is about sowing and reaping. You are expected to sow what you expect to reap. Expect from others what you sow into their lives. If you do not want it done to you then do not do it to others. Do you desire to be loved? Then show love to others. Do you desire to be honored? Honour others. Do you desire to be helped? Help others. Do you desire good friends? Be a good friend. Give to others what you want others to give to you. Relationships that work stands on a balance of give and take; they are mutually beneficial. A relationship where all the care and sacrifices is being made by only one person will die a natural death. Give as much as you desire to receive in your dealings with the brethren, friends, family, your neighbors and colleagues at work. You are over estimating yourself and being selfish when you think it is the duty of those in your life to love you and make all the sacrifices you are unwilling to make for them. A selfish disposition in your relations with others is alien to the life we are called to live in Christ. Realizing and consciously meeting others need of love, appreciation, respect, etc, will make them meet your own need of the same. The people in your life have the same general needs as you. Cease from living only in the consciousness of your own needs. Live life by sharing your time, affection and care. Do to others what you want them to do to you, today and always. Think About This: Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Faith Confession: I am a giver. I give as much as I receive in my relationship with others. I give as much love as I desire others to give to me. I am sensitive to the needs of others and committed to helping them. I live daily for the benefit of others. Glory be to God. Prayer: Pray in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: Acts chapter 5. Your day is blessed. |
