"The False Prophet Hananiah" by Jude Edouard
Mark
"Devotional Sunday" by Jude Edouard, for 5/15/22:
Lesson: "The False Prophet Hananiah"
Jeremiah 28

In this chapter God wanted to teach us about His heart and how it works.
The people of Israel are the chosen people of God, and wanted to do great things for the people of Israel, and truly God has achieved a lot in the lives of the children of Israel and yet the people of Israel have never remained faithful to God.
Each time the people of Israel disobeyed the voice of God, he punished them with God delivering them into the hands of their enemies to rob them because of disobedience to God. But the people of Israel have always forgotten how great God is and can do anything in their lives.
Once again the people of Israel disobeyed the voice of God, so God delivered them into the hand of the king of Babylon who was Nebuchadnezzar for 70 years. But it was through Jeremiah the prophet that God declared that.
Hananiah who was also a prophet but who did not come from God prophesied on those whom God had not sent him to say in verses 2 to 4 declaring that in two years God will establish peace among the people of Israel.
In verses 5 to 9 Jeremiah says to Hananiah if what you said really happens we recognize that it is really God who sent you. For this Hananiah is broken the wooden yoke that was on Jeremiah's shoulder.
And God pronounced a sentence on Hananiah not only did he deceive the trust of the people and deny, despise abandon the word of God by saying what God did not say. For this Hananiah died for this.
God wants to entrust us in everything he tells us, even if another person comes to present us with another word does not receive it, we must remain confident in the word of God, because many come under the name of God for deceive us.
Hananiah represents Satan who changed the word of God in order to deceive us. The word of God is accurate and direct.

May the peace of God be upon you Brother Mark !!
Good Sunday !!
