2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

The power of Christ is the driving force of the believer's daily walk in victory. It is the strength by which he is called to excel in righteousness, walk in health, prosper in all his ways and prevail over the darkness of this world. Without the power of Christ the believer is both nothing and can do nothing.

The secret of getting the power of Christ to rest upon you is glorying in your weaknesses. To glory in weakness is to take your eyes off your very obvious weaknesses and fix them firmly on the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be the person you are called to be in Him and do all you are called to do through faith in Him. To glory in weakness is to choose to count on the sufficiency of the grace of God that is available to you in Christ Jesus to overcome in this life rather than be weighed down by the weaknesses of your flesh.

Stop trying to overcome your weaknesses with your strength. Stop praying to God to take them away. The weakness of your flesh is vital to your getting the power of Christ to rest on you. Focus on taking advantage of those weaknesses through trusting in the sufficiency of the grace of God that abound toward you in Christ. Do not be overwhelmed by them; do not allow the devil to bring you under condemnation because of the weakness of your flesh. See those weaknesses as nothing but opportunity to draw from the grace of God to be who you are called to be and do all you are called to do in Christ.

Choose to rise and prevail in life through faith in the sufficiency of the grace of God that is in Christ rather than be held captive by the weaknesses of your flesh. Refuse to be distracted from looking unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Focus your heart and mind on Him and on being who you are called to be and do through faith in Him, today and always.

Think About This:
Titus 2:11‭-‬13
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Faith Confession:
I have absolute confidence in the sufficiency of the grace of God that is in Christ Jesus, my Lord and King. I refuse to be weighed down by the glaring weaknesses in my flesh. I choose to rise in faith to make the most of the grace of God to be who I am called to be and do all all I am called to do in Christ. Hallelujah!

Prayer:
Pray in the Spirit.
