Topic: "Embrace Your Process." and "Serve" - Two lessons by Sunday Ayodele Thursday May 5th 2022. 1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." Suffering is an important part of a believer's covenant process. The believer in Christ Jesus must go through the process of suffering in order to mature into the quality of person God designed him to be. It is because suffering is an important part of a believer's covenant process that it is meant to last for a while. It is impossible to mature into the quality of person that is capable of maximizing the abundance of grace that is in Christ Jesus without going through the covenant process of suffering for a while. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles were processed by suffering into the quality of persons they were, hence they were able to convert the grace of God to personal testimonies of victory to the glory of God. Seeing suffering as a covenant process will free you from loosing your joy as you go through it. The will of God concerning the covenant process of suffering is that it last for a while. However, the attitude of your heart and mind as you go through it will ultimately determine how long it will last. Submit to your covenant process of suffering for a while. Refuse to murmur. Refuse to think thoughts, speak words or take actions that will prolong it beyond God's timing for it. Allow the man you are meant to be emerge from the process your heavenly Father has ordained that you must go through. Do not abort it. Think About This: Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. Faith Confession: All things work together for my good. I am becoming the man I am called to be through the challenges o go through daily. I am fully submitted to my covenant process of suffering for a while. I refuse to complain. I refuse to murmur. I refuse to abort my process of maturing into becoming like Christ in all things. Glory be to God. Prayer: Pray aggressively in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: Revelation chapter14 Your day is blessed. Thu 5:19 PM Sunday Sunday Ayodele Topic: Serve. Friday May 6th 2022 Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption The greatest use of the life you have in union with Christ is to make it available to the Lord to serve His purpose and serve humanity. The will of God is that you wholeheartedly serve in love. To not serve is to place a question mark on your very existence; we live to serve. To not serve is to deprive your generation that which the Lord bestowed on you for their lifting. Relevance in the kingdom is a function of how well you deploy the grace of God on your life to the benefit of those around you and the world at large. To be self centered is to loose sight of the very essence of life. You were created in Christ Jesus to serve (Ephesians 2:10). Life looses its value when it is not lived for the Lord and to the benefit of others. Put your life to good use; make yourself available where a helping hand is needed. Serve others with your gifts, talents, your words, your money, your time, your learning; serve with everything at your disposal. Be like King David; serve your generation. Think About This: 1 Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Faith Confession: I am God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works. I am again born to serve God's purpose. I was created in Christ Jesus to add value to the lives of those I am privileged by God to meet and relate with daily. I take great delight in being a helping hand for the lifting of others to the glory of God. Prayer: Pray in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: Revelation chapter 15 Your day is blessed. |
