Topic: Rejoice In The Lord Monday April 25th 2022 By Sunday Ayodele, Lagos, Nigeria Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, rejoice. The life the new creature has and enjoys is unique to Christ and being in Him. Only in Christ is a man made into a new creature; only in Him are old things past away and all things become new. The reality our heavenly Father has made possible for those in union with Christ cannot be found or experienced elsewhere. The believer in Christ is called to a life that is defined by rejoicing in Him. To rejoice in the Lord is to be glad and excited about being in union with Christ and to enjoy all the wonderful benefits that abound in Him. To rejoice in the Lord is to be filled with joy because of the life you have in Him and to draw confidence from it. You owe it to yourself to continually rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ and all He has done in you and for you. It is only through constantly rejoicing in the Lord that the exercising of your faith would be effectual. The more you rejoice in the Lord the more effective your faith will be in converting grace to testimonies. Acknowledging the goodness of the Lord and the wonders of His grace that abound towards you empowers your faith to convert the grace of God to personal testimonies of victory. To enjoy the life you have in union with Christ, and make the most of all the amazing benefits that abound in Him, you must develop the habit of always rejoicing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Make your life about maximizing your union with Christ and enjoying all the wonderful grace benefits that abound in Him. Refuse to settle for nothing but your heritage in Christ. Derive your confidence from the fact that you live and move and have your being in Christ. Be excited; celebrate the life you have in Christ, today and always. Think About This: Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Faith Confession: My hope and confidence are rooted in Christ Jesus. I live victoriously through my faith in Him and all He has done in me and for me. I am daily excited by the life I have in union with Christ and all the wonderful benefits that are available to me in Him. I celebrate the life I have in Christ Jesus, my Lord and King. Hallelujah!
