Topic: Pay The Price. Friday 18th March 2022 Written by Sunday Ayodele, Lagos, Nigeria Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not;also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. The truth you possess determines the fruits that will abound in your life. No truth, no fruit. Truth is a priceless asset in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Every step you take as a believer is meant to be driven by truth. Truth is what makes a believer's walk in victory fruitful. To walk or do a thing outside of the truth is to embrace a life devoid of fruit that glorify God. Those who faithfully follow the Lord Jesus Christ will come to the knowledge of the truth. The essence of following the Lord Jesus is the discovery and maximizing of the truth. To buy the truth is to pay the price of diligently following the Lord Jesus without compromise. The Lord Jesus is the truth. To buy the truth is to wholeheartedly invest your time, your resources, your emotions, your strength, and your all, into following the Lord with the sole aim of getting to know Him better in such a way as the knowledge of Him causes you to bear fruit. When you follow the Lord you get rewarded with the deep knowledge of Him. The greatest decision you can make is to wholeheartedly follow the Lord without looking back. Buying the truth isn't about getting to know the word; it is all about knowing the Lord intimately. It is about knowing Him in such a deep way that your life can't help but reflect His glory and abound with fruit. The purpose of the knowledge of the word is to help you follow the Lord faithfully; it is possible to know the word and not know the Lord. The more you know the Lord the more you will know the truth. The truth is in Jesus. The deeper you go in Jesus, the more you will discover the truth. Pay the price for the truth; focus your whole being on buying the truth. You will not regret it. Think About This: John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Faith confession: I am rooted and grounded in the truth that is in Christ Jesus. I bear fruit by the truth I discover in union with Christ Jesus. I pay the price daily to know the Lord and walk in the truth that is Him. My life abounds with fruit as I know the Lord Jesus Christ more and more. Hallelujah. Prayer: Pray in the Spirit.
