Hebrews 1:5
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?

Angels are highly esteemed beings in the kingdom of God. They occupy a very special place in the kingdom of God and play a very special role in the execution of the will of God in heaven and on the earth. They are beautiful, powerful and very special beings. As highly esteemed, special, beautiful and powerful as they are they are not regarded nor treated as sons of God.

Being a son of God is being in the class of God. It is about having the nature of God and having the capacity to think, speak and act like Him. A son is fit to sit where His father is seated and stand where His father stands. A son is as His father is in being and in doing. Sons of God have the very life He has at work in Him.

You are a son of God. You became a son of God when you received the Lord Jesus Christ and became one spirit with Him through your faith in Him and His finished work. You have the same life that is at work in your heavenly Father. You have His righteous and holy nature in you. You have His Spirit. You are as your heavenly Father is.

The quality of life you live daily and the things that are drawn to you is a function of you identifying with who you are and your standing before God. Seeing yourself as a son of God, and thinking, speaking and acting as one, will change everything about you. It will position you to be all that you are called to be in Christ and enable you to operate in the supernatural to the glory of God.

Identifying with the fact that you stand before God as a son and deliberately walking in its reality and power will establish you in God's world of possibilities. The Lord Jesus Christ excelled in righteousness and fulfilled His Messianic destiny because He was deliberate about being the Son of God and deliberately walked as the Son of God that He was in His earthly walk.

You can excel in righteousness and fulfil the glorious destiny your heavenly Father has called you to fulfil in Christ if you can set your heart and mind on operating as a son of God that you are in union with Christ. Identify with your God bestowed identity. Choose to be who you truly are in Christ. Choose to think, speak and act as a son of God. Hand over the reins of your heart to the Holy Spirit; let Him teach you. Let Him lead you in the paths of righteousness, today and always.

Think About This:
1 John 3:1
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Faith Confession:
I am a son of God. I have the very nature of God at work in me. I think, speak and act like my heavenly Father. I am as my heavenly Father is in this world. Hallelujah!

prayer:
Pray in the Spirit.

2 Timothy chapter 2.
