Topic: Focus On What Is In Christ. By Sunday Ayodele, Lagos, Nigeria Tuesday 1st February 2022. Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is both a person and a place. The scriptures refer to Him as the secret place of the Most High. Christ Jesus calls all who have faith in Him and His finished work to abide in Him. We are called in the Lord Jesus Christ to relate with Him as a person as well as our dwelling place. Seeing the Lord Jesus Christ as your dwelling place, and relating with Him accordingly, necessitates knowing what your heavenly Father has made available to you in Him. It also necessitates knowing what is not obtainable in Him. Knowing what the Father has made available to you in Christ Jesus renders impotent that which He has not made available to you that seek to impose itself on you. It is impossible to find sickness, disease, poverty, premature death, curses, oppression of devils, and all that humiliate mankind in Christ. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus forbids them all. What is found in Christ are things the Father placed in Him; it cannot be found in Him if the Father did not put it in Him. As one who is in union with Christ you must see to it that you fix your heart and mind on laying hold on and enjoying that which your heavenly Father has made available to you in Him. Stop looking for what is not in Christ. Stop looking for condemnation; you won't find it in Christ. Stop expecting to be sick, oppressed and poverty stricken. Expect to have and enjoy only that which is available to you in Christ Jesus. Think About This: Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. Faith Confession: Christ Jesus is my dwelling place. In Him I live and move and have my being. In Him I have the redemption, even the forgiveness of sins. In Christ Jesus dwells the fulness of the Godhead bodily. I am complete in Him. I have no interest or connection with what does not exist in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! Prayer: Pray in the Spirit. Daily Bible Reading: 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. |
