About the author: Terry L. Blakey writes these encouraging thoughts on his Facebook page at https://www.faceb...om/tblakey. The title was made up by me.. *Note: If you look Terry up on Facebook, be sure to look up "Terry L Blakey" - The middle initial is VERY important. ---------------------------------------------------------- Blessed! Yes, our Creator has given us another day. The day after many have celebrated the birth of His Son. Knowing Jesus what may I want to change about how I live and what I do. When Jesus was out preaching the Good News He was looking for sinners, people like me. “When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners? On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:16-17 NIV) What a blessing to have Jesus who isn’t ashamed of us. He is calling us to a healthy way to live! Today is going to be busy. There may be some hiking for those who want and some bike riding for others. Another day of being with each other before we return to our normal for 3 days whatever normal is? Something to think about which I find interesting and a little perplexing. “Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.” (Mark 3:11-12 NIV) I hope today finds everyone in great spirits. God is good and He loves us! |
