Good morning! Everyday Facebook asks me what is on my mind. There are some morning I am not sure I have one let along any activity happening. The lights are on but no one is home. To me a better question would be, what is on my heart. Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." And in Proverbs 4:23 tells us to guard our hearts. For the last few weeks we as a church have been memorizing Psalms 139 and today Pastor Bruce's lesson will be from there. Psalms 139:17 “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!" For me I like or maybe I should say I need to start my day with God and the coffee He provides. Psalms 139 is a great prayer and I love the ending! “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." (Psalms 139:23-24) Guard your heart, pray, trust and fear God. “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” (Malachi 4:2) Have a great day! God is good!! Terry L.
