Jesus tells stories of ordinary life to reveal to his followers what the kingdom of heaven is like. The parable of the Growing Seed that the kingdom grows because of the presence of Jesus. Human effort is not needed, which actually hinders a follower from having the contentment, confidence, and comfort in life which true life in Jesus produces. Life is all about following Jesus. |
