There is no tricking God. The magicians during the time of Moses and the Exodus tried to trick Pharaoh, the people, and God himself, until they were out matched by God's power. Their folly was clear to everyone, like Paul warning Timothy to beware of those who would disregard God's power and willingly choose to deny the truth and willingly disobey God's principles to love others."
