| SMELL LIKE JESUS - BY Bryan Johnston - Sermon: Smell Like Jesus Scripture: Matt. 7:15-23" Jesus is the truth. In order to identify false teachers we have to get in close to see the teeth, see the source, and see the fruit and compare to what we know about Jesus. If we notice something not like the truth of Jesus we should beware and be warned. Getting in close to Jesus will cause us to smell like Jesus and able to sniff out untruth. Don’t be deceived and don’t be a deceiver. The Lord knows who are his. Here are some notes I took from the lesson: Taking Tests: Back school, multiple choice tests were good, because they gave you an idea what the answer COULD be. True/False questions were interesting too, because you always knew that if ANY PART of the question was wrong, ALL of it was wrong. So if you were well versed in what was right, then you were sure to get the right answer, all you had to do was find anything wrong in the question to get it right. Knowing the truth is the most important thing in our lives, and Jesus is the Truth. Knowing him and his commandments will help us quickly discover -anything- that is wrong... and if even PART of some action is wrong...well, ALL of it is wrong.
