Not that it is not an important job - Nothing is much more important than this job, but... we need to watch out for Satan's use of this GOOD thing in a NEGATIVE way towards us. Norm tells about Saul, the first king of Israel, and what happened when Saul did NOT guard himself against the feelings of self-importance. Saul started out with a great beginning, delivering the people of Israel, but then he started going his OWN way and doing his OWN things instead of doing God's will; and as a result God rejected him as king. It is sometimes **uncomfortable** for us to study lessons like this where someone who started out great and noble falls from that "point of grace" - but under the right conditions it could probably happen to any of us.
