When the evil Pharaoh issued a command for all Hebrews baby boys to be killed, in fear of the nation of Israel rising up against Egypt in power and revolt, two powerless God-fearing women refused, resisted, and revolted against his command. These mothers led the way to overcome oppression and set the captives free.* (Editors note: God bless Shiprah and Puah! Many lives were saved by their bravery.)
