| Sermon Summary: *Peace be with You* by Bryan Johnston. Scripture: John 20:19-29 Jesus returns to his disciples waiting in fear of what would be next for them and their Lord after Jesus' death. Jesus returns saying, Peace be with you. His grace covers them and he invites them to come together with him as their Prince of Peace. His peace turns their fear into rejoicing through the power of surrender. His peace leads to the indwelling of his Spirit and the power of forgiveness. His peace leads the doubters to touch and see through the power of belief. Jesus' grace and peace is given for all to join him as his disciples after his resurrection. This is a VERY inspiring lesson. Please be sure to hear it, even if it is NOT Easter.... :-) |
