| Sermon Title: "Story of Love" - Scripture: 1 John 4:7-21 The Bible is a Story of Love. God has a rugged commitment to be present with us, to be for us as our advocate, with the goal of transforming us through redemption into Christlikeness. God sees our relationship as a marriage. God is the husband, we are the wife. God is the groom, we are bride. God is faithful, even when we are not. God’s love was perfected in Christ through his dead bringing the world life. Our response and approach to him and his word should be one of love. God is for us, so let us crave him and his love. We cannot live without him and his word. As we read the bible, it reads us and we form a relationship of love. We can fall in love again and again as we read the word anew every morning. Our view is formed into the likeness of Christ through our relationship with Jesus. And we can enjoy the rest we find in God’s love. The Bible is God’s Story of Love.
