| Sermon Title: Holy Bible Scripture: Hebrews 1:1-3 The Bible are the sacred book of writings of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and the writings of the apostles and first followers of Jesus known as the New Testament. The Bible tells about a Holy God who has called a people to be Holy. God is made known and comes into relationship with humanity. God rescues them from the fall, to redeem them through Christ, and fully restore them. God has the people write down and regularly read the rules for holy living. By being obedient to the ways of God the people are about to be set apart and be called people of God – a holy nation. The Holy Bible is a collection of the law, writings, and prophets, along with the gospels and the writing of the apostles. The Bible points toward Jesus who is the complete representation of God, who fully redeems and restores all creation through a salvific relationship with him.
