| Sermon Title: Honor Your Father in Heaven Scripture: John 14:1-23 Our Heavenly Father has become know to us through the life of his son Jesus. Like Father, like son; Jesus reveals his Father to his disciples through his words, actions, and praise of God. Because Jesus honored God, we can also know God as our Father. We are invited to know him and welcomed to honor God through obedience, through the gift of the Holy Spirit, and through the love of God through Jesus. Jesus said, *If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him.* (John 14:23) We know the Father through the Son. We can be sons and daughters by honoring God in our lives. We can have our home with God. Let us honor our Father in heaven today and every day. Through our honoring others will know our Father.
