| Sermon Title: Peace Be With You Scripture: Luke 24:36-44 Jesus is our Prince of Peace who has the power to restore all creation. Jesus has the power to heal all physical ailments, he can calm every storm, and defeat every enemy. Our Lord paid the price and fought the battle against sin and death with his own life. Good news! He conquered the grave and defeated sin in order to bring us peace. Good news! His peace is a continuous river of life that by the presence of the Holy Spirit is always with us. Jesus entered the room with is troubled and doubting disciples and says, “Peace be with you.” They are fearful and excited at his appearing. He speaks words of comfort. Jesus shows them his nail scarred hands and feet. Then he even asks them for a bite to eat, all to calm their confusion and reveal the truth of his resurrection. Do you have peace? Where do you need the Prince of Peace to enter your life? Who do you need to take peace to? Be still and know God. Peace be with you.
