| Sermon Summary 2/26/17 Sermon Title: The Road – There is More The disciples are walking down the road to Emmaus, still not recognizing Jesus, when they stop at their destination. Jesus appears to be going farther down the road. The men urge Jesus to stay with them and he does. There is always more going on with Jesus than what we can see and know. It is amazing how Jesus can be in control over all the world and be available to every need and every person all at the same time. Jesus has the whole world to care for, teach, and bless and yet he has time to spend time with each person individually. Jesus accepts the invitation to come into our lives. He is waiting for us to ask. Jesus has the time and the patience. Jesus died for the world, but also for each one. There is more than our simple lives, but God so loved the world, individually and collectively, that he gave his one and one Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish (Jn. 3:16).
