| Sermon Summary - Title: The Hands of Sinners Scripture: Luke 24:6-8 The angels appeared to the concerned women at the tomb. They provided encouragement and teaching by standing beside them and challenging them to pursue understanding into this new reality. They began by asking “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” Then they reminded them of something the Lord had said, to help make sense of the mystery of the missing body of Jesus. The angels said, “Remember how Jesus told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” Then they remembered his words. This lesson will consider why Jesus said he must die, who the sinners were, and what our response must be to the resurrection.
