| By Glenn Williams -A wonderful sermon about what the body of Christ must do to remain strong - that is, we as Christians that make up the church. We are not speaking of a physical fitness program, but a SPIRITUAL FITNESS program. Some worry about ministering to -unworthy- people if you can imagine that. Only GOD makes that determination. We are told to Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.- nothing mentioned about being picky! The body also needs to remain strong. Real ministry is accomplished by people who are confident, compassionate, and secure in themselves. The main thing to remember is adopt an -attitude of servitude- as many say. The greatest man ever to walk the face of the earth (Jesus) once stooped to the lowest job of washing the disciples feet -- and if He can do that, we need to be able to be humble enough to do the same. |
