| Glenn Williams - Lesson from Jeremiah chapter 6, talking about the Children of Israel and whether or not they were ashamed when they were committing the sins and such that they were doing. This important lesson drives home on very important point: God can forgive sins. ALL sins, not just the little ones! Glenn mentions that at one point he once gave a sermon and got a call from a person later saying she'd committed that sin he'd identified as an "abomination" so she was surely going to hell with no chance of reprieve since the sin she committed was an "abomination" to God. This is a SUPER important lesson in this sermon that needs to be understood if nothing else: GOD CAN FORGIVE ALL SINS. NOBODY IS BEYOND HOPE and redemption. Everyone has the opportunity to delight in the glory of God. Hear this lesson and learn more about it. One thing brought out in this lesson: A survey was conducted in 2004, and of all of those who identified themselves Christians only 32% (THIRTY-TWO PERCENT) believed that the Bible is the Word of God and necessary for everyday living. Sad... and I wonder what it is today... What do YOU believe? |
