| There has been recent effort by the some to lower the military special forces standards so that women could qualify to serve in the elite parts of the special forces, such as Navy Seals, etc. It has created quite a fuss. Would you like to see standards lowered only so some group could qualify to join? How about doctors? What about if churches lowered their standards ONLY to fill their buildings? Filling their buildings with MEMBERS, and not DISCIPLES. Being a DISCIPLE is more difficult. This lesson goes into detail about how dangerous it would be if we lower God's standards only to draw people in... His standards must NOT be changed. The lesson teaches what it means and what is required to become a DISCIPLE of Christ, not just a member of a church. Please listen to it. (Also, at the beginning of the recording is an after-event summary about how well our "Trunk or Treat" event turned out - about 400 children and parents from our community came to be part of it) |
