| We had been studying the book of Luke, this lesson deviates from that plan for a bit. We are starting a new year now, and its time to take a look at ourselves both individually and collectively and see if and where there are places we need to make some changes. We will focus on what the future will be, and what the present is for us as well. This lesson is from Nehemiah, the date is 422 BC. Chapters 6:15-16 tells that the walls of the city had been laying in ruins for 100 years. When people finally set their minds to fixing them, they rebuilt the walls in only 52 DAYS - Not months, or years. FIFTY-TWO DAYS. Listen to this story of dedication that resulted when people finally looked inwardly, saw something that needed changed, and DID IT. |
