I loved Javon Johnson's sermon here on Sunday. God is calling us to be productive in some way. We all have something to give the Lord. Javon mentioned how Gladys Button gave him so much encouragement. I, too, am always encouraged by notes from Betty Hollister. Also, when she says that she will pray for you, consider it done. We all have different gifts (Romans 12:6); just be faithful unto death. I love Micah 6:8 where the Lord requires us to act in a just manner, to love mercy, and to be humble. Really, the bottom line of Christianity is to love God with all your being and to love others as yourself. I love you, Joe |
