Jesus sends out the seventy two.

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Thought: We meet people every day whose lives we can touch in some way. Many are wounded (mental or physical) in ways we can't even imagine. More than ever they need God in their lives. We are given opportunities to show them Christ living in us. We have an obligation to not only spread the word but to show them God's love for them. We are all workers in God's harvest, and the people we meet and encourage every day are the harvest that is going to be lost if we don't do something to help them get to know the God who loves them. We are given opportunities all the time, make the most of them.
