My granddaughter would drag home every stray dog in the county if she could get away with it. In fact last week she did take home a dog that seemed to be without a home or an owner. He was friendly enough and she connected with him at first sight. That dog even slept in her bed with her that night (after it had a bath of course).
People are straying pilgrims. They are on a journey and for the most part, no one cares which direction they are going. They have engaged in the world without realizing that they are making life extremely difficult for themselves. They have become satisfied with the s****s that are thrown in their direction. They fill their bellies with those discarded pieces unaware that in God's house there is a banquet waiting for them. They may not even know it exists.
But does anyone really care about those misguided souls? Does anyone have any guidance they can offer? God cares and He provides guidance for them. He is searching for those who have had enough of this world and are wanting more out of life. Does that describe you? God will scrub you clean and give you a home. All you need to do is reach out for it.
