Standing Firm - Matthew 10:22

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Thought: Hate is a strong word but Jesus wanted us to understand we would not necessarily be the majority and there would be others who would look down on us and yes even hate us. Being a disciple of Christ does not mean we always walk the easy road. It requires that we have morals and values and that we stand by them and do what we know is right especially through the hard times. At the end of the road the hard times and criticism will all be gone, salvation and everything that goes with it will be ours. The alternative, not so good.
