Pile of rubble - Mark 13: 1-2

As Jesus was leaving the Temple, one of his disciples told him, "Look Teacher, what large stones and what beautiful buildings!"
"Do you see these large buildings?" Jesus responded. "Not one stone here will be left on another that will not be torn down."

Thought: Today it's not much different. Look at some of the beautiful cathedrals and church's all built supposedly for the glory of God. Folks that is not the glory He is seeking. Look into your hearts. What do you see there? That is what God sees, what's in your heart. Where is your/our devotion? Yes many of those buildings will stand for many a year but none of them will be forever.

Side note: The temples also represented the old laws and covenants. Jesus's live death and resurrection put aside all those old ways and gave us thru baptism, our own resurrection into a new life with Him
