About seven years ago we bought a used camper. There was no owner's manual with it but the salesman attempted to explain everything and it was left up to our memorys to how it all worked. Not wanting to trust our ability to remember, I chose to contact the manufacturer to purchase an owner's manual. They said they would be happy to send one to us. When it arrived, the mere appearance of it told me that this was probably not going to be what I hoped for. Looking inside, my worst nightmare came to reality. There was not one thing I could understand. However I have made a good faith effort to figure it all out, but be assured there is much that has been left unlearned, there are times I am totally confused. When God created humanity, He did not leave us to our self to figure out what it takes to live a meaningful life in this world. The Bible continues to give us guidance in finding joy, peace and comfort. It is not difficult to comprehend, neither does it take an expert to explain it. However, it will do no good if it simply sets on a shelf or table. Take it and read it, and you will be blessed. You might say it is the ultimate owners manual. |
