(ESV) For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Thought: While writing this verse my mind went back to my childhood. I thought of the times when as children we got caught doing or saying things we were taught not to. Who did we blame? The other sibling of course. "It wasn't me", or "They made me do it." Is it not a blessing to have Christ who willing took on the responsibilities and the punishment for our sins. God knows we cannot handle the responsibility for them all on our own. The forgiveness is there for all of us if we will just accept Him, seek that forgiveness and ask.
