Saved - Romans 8: 3-4

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Thought: God knew that we could not live up the the old Mosiac Laws. Man is just to weak and sinful. So he sent Jesus, His only Son to take on all that sin for us. Now after baptism we have taken on the Holy Spirit and a new life. With our faith and the Holy Spirit guiding us we have the opportunity to have our sins forgiven, to walk in a new light.
