Tomorrow is a special day for all those who follow Jesus Christ. Throughout the world churches will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. I hope you will see fit to come and worship with us.

How important is that event that took place so many centuries ago? We turn to scripture and we are reminded that Jesus coming forth from the tomb is the very foundation of our faith. Without that miracle we are hopelessly doomed to a life without direction, without hope, and without purpose.

One of the saddest things to witness is the attempt by many to take a hold of life through possessions, power, or position. Remember the bumper sticker, "The one who dies with the most toys wins."? Not true. It should say, "the one who dies with the most toys still dies.: To live for what we can gather around us or to strive for power is a hopeless pursuit that is a dead end. Once achieved, then what?

Jesus' resurrection forever reminds us that there is more: More to this life and more in the life that is eternal

Come worship with us Sunday.
