Storms in Life? Mark 4:37 from Heartlight

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. (KJV)

Thought: Are there storms in you life? There are in mine. Some small, some moderate and some that just make you want to crawl in a hole somewhere and just disappear till they go away. Being a Christian does not mean we will go thru life skipping and singing Tra La La. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a FALSE teacher. Look at what the world did and still does to Jesus. They called him crazy, ridiculed him, tried to trick him and finally killed him in the most humiliating way.

So even though we have the promise of life eternal in heaven with Him, life can and will throw us some (what we think of)unbearable stuff, sickness, loss of loved ones, just our day to day living can be very stressfull, etc. Sometimes even great items in our life can be a curse if we don't manage them well.

They key to all this you ask? JESUS is the key! We must keep him ever in our hearts and minds, keep Him with us always and remember to PRAY! Jesus can help us thru it, let him be our great Comforter.
