I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing you received from Him (the Holy One) remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Thought: There are many out there who take the Bible's teachings and only use bits and pieces of it molding it to to their beliefs or lifestyle. When we come to Christ and are baptized into Him we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit. To find the true way we have all the teachings left to us by Jesus and the Apostles. Everything we need to live a true Christian life is in the Bible. Spend time reading Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Learn about Christ and his teachings, do what He teaches. Abide in Him and He will abide in you. The more you do, the more He will.
