But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Thought: We start as babies learning from our parents and extended families. Then at school we have teachers, and as we go on we learn from our lifes experiences. So too with our spiritual lives, I hope. Our parents teach us about God and tell us stories from the Bible. So too with our Bible class teachers. As we grow in our faith, we also grow in our spirituality. God wants us to be equipped for the works ahead and has given us everything we need to accomplish them. Remember the mustard seed?
