Duty - Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Thought: This particular verse sums up our duties as followers of Christ to those around us. Christ is the truth and we must be like him. The Greek word for honest is "reverend" so those things that deserve reverence must be held to. Be just in all those you deal with, live an upright life, and be pure in your mind and in your deeds.
I would like to urge you to read the whole book of Philippians. It is only 4 short chapters but is filled with such love from Paul to this church.
