Contentment - Philippians 4:11-12

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therein to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know also how to abound: in everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want.

Thought: Are we content with our lives or are we always striving for more? And if we do get more what are we doing with it? Are we doing God's will and helping others or are we hoarding what we have and not helping when there is a need. Help does not always have to be monitary things such as monies. It can be food when someone is sick, or maybe a visit to the elderly or those in care facilities. The little things we do can mean so much to someone who has naught. Think about it, one day we might be in their situation, then how will we feel?
